new openings

Hello everyone, welcome to the Avalanche Cafe blog. The summer has been an exciting time here at the cafe. As some of you know, I just reopened the cafe in July. Many folks who live nearby stopped in to introduce themselves. Everyone was glad the old gathering spot was open once again. In October Dillon came on board making delicious pastries for breakfast. Already the pumpkin sticky buns are a big favorite.

On a personal note, I would like to say how happy I am to be here. I first visited Silverton back in February and I decided then this was a town I could live in. Since arriving in June, I have enjoyed my time in this special place. I want to say "thanks" to all the kind people I have met and for the support everyone has shown. Here's to a good winter, may we all be warm, prosperous and well fed!
